The Astronomical New Moon is on Sunday 20th May 2012 at 00:48BST. 

The crescent will not be visible anywhere on this day. It can be easily seen on Tuesday 22nd May 2012 in most parts of the world including the whole of Europe. 

1st Rajab 1433AH will thus be on Wednesday 23rd May 2012 for the Muqallideen of Ayatullah Sistani and Marhum Ayatullah Khui.

Initiate, manage and execute fundraising, marketing and PR strategies and activities for the organisation as well as build and manage relationships with donors, supporters and other stakeholders. 

You will have strong organisational, time, project and event management skills. The role will require excellent writing, communication and presentation abilities and an understanding of fundraising, marketing and PR essentials. Interpersonal skills, networking and a commitment to excellence are vital. You must be a confident and creative person with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Quran Crash Course

quranA few weeks ago Muhammadi Madrasah had organised a Quran workshop for primary parents and a large number of parents requested a follow up workshop to go through basics of Quran recitation again.

Therefore, we have organised a crash course for the next three weeks starting this Sunday 13th of May at 10 AM - 11 AM for anyone who would like to attend. Topics that would be covered:

1. Basic pronunciation of the letters
2. Short and Long vowels
3. Tajweed
4. Other basic rules

This workshop is open to everyone who would like to attend. Please be there on time. We look forward to seeing you all there.
